Due to popular demand, we now offer our slip collar on its own. This change allows you to pair it with your own lead or select one of our clip leads. If you prefer a combined lead and collar, simply check out our training leads for a complete solution.

Sizing Instructions

To ensure a proper fit, measure the widest part of your dog’s head and select the next size up. Add at least 2 cm to achieve a comfortable fit.

Choosing the Right Width for Your Dog

Our training leads are available in three widths: 6mm, 12mm, and 16mm. Each width serves a different purpose:

• 6mm Width: Ideal for smaller dogs, offering a delicate yet durable solution. Despite its lightweight nature, it is strong enough for extra-large dogs.
• 12mm Width: Our best-selling option, known for its versatility and effectiveness across all dog sizes. It provides an excellent balance between strength and lightness.
• 16mm Width: Best suited for medium to extra-large dogs, providing a more substantial feel for enhanced comfort. This width offers a softer correction option.

Important Note

The listed measurement refers to the inside collar section. An additional 7 cm overhang (see photos) accommodates the slider, label, and ring. If you prefer a collar without the overhang and only want the collar ring, let us know. We can make it without the slider. However, remember that the slider is essential for achieving a proper fit.

How to Use the Zendi Training Collar

• Adjust the Loop: Begin by sliding the nylon stopper back to create a loop large enough to fit over your dog’s head. Gently place this loop over your dog’s head.
• Position the Collar: Place the loop high on your dog’s neck, just behind the ears, to ensure optimal control.
• Secure the Fit: Slide the nylon stopper down to secure the collar. This adjustment will prevent your dog from backing out. Make sure you can comfortably fit two fingers under the collar.
• Attach the Lead: When attaching the lead, ensure it passes straight through the collar ring towards you. This alignment allows the collar to release properly after a correction. Avoid letting the lead come from under the dog’s neck or bending through the ring, as this may create constant pressure that could cause your dog to pull or strain.

Note: Proper positioning and attachment are crucial for effective training. Constant pressure around the neck can lead to counterproductive behaviour, so ensure proper alignment.

Safety

Never leave a slip collar on a dog that is tied up or unsupervised.
