In response to high demand, we are excited to offer our slip collar individually, allowing you to pair it with your own lead or choose from our range of clip leads. If, however, you prefer a combined lead and collar, be sure to check out our training leads for a complete solution.

The nylon stopper is crucial for a secure fit, allowing the collar to remain high on your dog’s neck for maximum control while preventing your dog from backing out.

Sizing Instructions: Measure the widest part of your dog’s head and select the next size up, adding at least 2 cm for a comfortable fit.

Choosing the Right Width for Your Dog:

Our training leads are available in three widths: 6mm, 12mm, and 16mm. Each width is designed to cater to different needs:

• 6mm Width: This size is perfect for smaller dogs, offering a delicate yet durable solution. Despite its lightweight design, it is robust enough to handle even extra-large dogs.
• 12mm Width: Our top-selling option, this width is renowned for its versatility and effectiveness across all dog sizes. It strikes an excellent balance between strength and lightness.
• 16mm Width: Ideal for medium to extra-large dogs, this width provides a more substantial feel, enhancing comfort and offering a softer correction option.

Important Note: The listed measurement refers to the inside collar section. Additionally, there is a 7 cm overhang (see photos) to accommodate the slider, label, and ring. If you prefer a collar without the overhang and only want the collar ring, please let us know, and we can adjust it accordingly. However, keep in mind that the slider is essential for ensuring a proper fit.

• Durability: Handcrafted from high-quality UV-coated 16mm Australian polypropylene rope, featuring a breaking strain of 500kg. Additionally, it includes stainless steel O-rings, a nylon stopper, and reinforced back-stitched joins for unmatched strength and longevity.
• Control: Designed for optimal control, the collar sits high on the dog’s neck, just behind the ears. This placement provides easy corrections during walks, training, or exercise. It offers firm yet gentle corrections that release when pressure is eased.
• Training Aid: Ideal for teaching your dog to walk calmly by your side and for learning new tricks. Always use a training leash for effective control and communication.
• Versatile Use: The stainless steel ring is perfect for beach outings and dog parks, making it easy to slip off when needed.

How to Use the Zendi Training Collar:

1. Adjust the Loop: Begin by sliding the nylon stopper back to create a loop large enough to fit over your dog’s head. Gently place this loop over your dog’s head.
2. Position the Collar: Position the loop high on your dog’s neck, just behind the ears, to ensure optimal control.
3. Secure the Fit: Slide the nylon stopper down to secure the collar in place. This adjustment will prevent your dog from backing out of the collar. Ensure that you can comfortably fit two fingers under the collar.
4. Attach the Lead: When attaching the lead, ensure it passes straight through the collar ring towards you. This alignment allows the collar to release properly after a correction. Avoid letting the lead come from under the dog’s neck or bend through the ring, as this can create constant pressure that may cause your dog to pull or strain.

Note: Correct positioning and attachment are crucial for effective training. Constant pressure around the neck can lead to counterproductive behaviour, so proper alignment is essential.

Important: A slip collar should never be left on dogs that are tied up or unsupervised.
