Choosing the Ideal Length for Your Training Needs:

The 1.3m lead length is ideal for teaching your dog to walk calmly beside you, regardless of size. However if you need more flexibility for different training scenarios or want to give your dog free time when walking, consider opting for a longer length. For those who use our slip leads as figure-8 halters, we recommend a minimum length of 1.8m, combined with our safety collar connector strap for added security.

Choosing the Right Width for Your Dog

Our training leads come in three widths: 6mm, 12mm, and 16mm, each designed to accommodate different needs:

• 6mm Width: Perfect for smaller dogs, offering a delicate yet durable solution. Despite its lightweight design, it’s robust enough for extra large dogs.
• 12mm Width: Our top-selling option, renowned for its versatility and effectiveness with all dog sizes. It strikes the perfect balance between strength and lightness.
• 16mm Width: Perfect for medium to extra-large dogs, offering a more substantial feel for enhanced comfort in the handlers hand, especially for strong pullers.

  How to Use the Zendi Training Lead:

  1. Adjust the Loop: Start by sliding back the nylon stopper to create a loop large enough to fit over your dog’s head. Gently place the loop over their head.
  2. Position the Collar: Ensure the loop sits correctly at the highest point of your dog’s neck, just behind their ears.
  3. Secure the Collar: Slide the nylon stopper down to secure the collar section in place. This helps prevent your dog from backing out of the lead. Make sure you can fit two fingers comfortably under the collar.
  4. Ensure Proper Lead Placement: The lead should come straight through the collar ring towards you. This ensures it releases correctly after a correction. If the lead comes from under the dog’s neck or bends through the collar ring, it might not release properly, resulting in constant pressure. This could cause your dog to pull against the lead.
  5. Safety Note: Never leave a slip collar on dogs that are tied up or left unsupervised.
